Geeks2Girls has searched though hundreds of apps in the iTunes app store to bring you our favorites for this holiday season. Weather you are traveling on vacation or sitting around with the family, you are sure to need a little entertainment.
#1 – Beejive IM. Beejive offers an iChat like experience to the iPhone. It works with AIM, Google Talk, ICQ, Yahoo, Myspace, MSN, and Jabber. We love it because of its iChat bubble messaging scheme, automatic away messages, and Push messaging capabilities.
#2 – Nanosaur 2. This is a full version port of the game from Mac OS X to the iPhone. The graphics a beautiful and the accelerometer adds a new dimension to the game. I just wish the iPhone version had a 3D option like the original game did.
#3 – Brothers in Arms. Arguably the best and only first person shooter for the iPhone. You play a solider back 
during the world wars. You combat the Germans in this fast paced action pack first person shooter. The game is extremely addicting. I just wish the controls were a LOT better.
#4 – Stickies. An excellent posted note app. Great compensation for the iPhone not having a dash board. Stickies allows you to create posted notes easily with a variety of colors. The app also makes it easy to post a sticky note as your background to remind you of life’s everyday, but forgetful tasks.
#5 – Aqua Forest. A fun addicting game running off of the O.E. Cake engine for Max OS, Windows and Linux. It is more than just a game, its
an experience. O.E. Cake is a physics engine and application which allows you to test the physics of different items.
#6 – X-Plane. The best flight simulator for the iPhone. This game is very similar to the Mac and PC version. You get to fly multiple planes in numerous scenarios.
#7 – Spore Origins. This game is a spin off from the Mac and PC versions of Spore. Just like in the full version, you start off as a cell and grow. Unfortunately in the iPhone version you can’t evolve into anything else, but you can grow and discover more use full parts.
